Introduction: [ref-01]

What's an Enhance Melee? An Enhance Melee is a hybrid build of a typical Melee build, retaining what's good in a Melee build, yet having the ability to Enhance and Buff him/herself, without the help of an Enhancer.

An Enhance Melee has 2 chain expertise: Retaliation and Enhancement (C2R5). Retaliation boost an Enhance Melee's damage with the help of various switch skills, whilst Enhancement(C2R5) grants an Enhance Melee the ability to further boost his/her damage through Pulses and cast null knockback to him/herself. An Enhance Melee relies on using Attack as his/her main source of attacking an enemy.

An Enhance Melee is a reliable build, being able to do well soloing dungeons or running dungeons with a party.

Attack: C5
Weapon Knowledge: C9
Survival Technique: C1
Chain expertise - Retaliation: C4R4

Level 50:
When you're around level 50, you should have enough expertise points to allocate to Attack, making it C5 and gaining Enhancement via Support Magic, Curative Magic and Bless.

Chain expertise - Retaliation: C5R0

Support Magic: C4
Curative Magic: C2
Bless: C1
Chain Expertise - Enhancement: C2R5

From here, you can decide which build to follow, either Build no. 1 or Build no. 2 when you're level 90.

Stats distribution: [ref-03]

  • Max Str
  • Secondary Int (boost to 140 with the use of tarots and SSes)
  • 20 Lck

(*Note: you can also Max Int first and make Str as your secondary stats; this enables you to go as a basic Enhancer on random parties and level up faster)
  • Why boost Str?
    - Because it's is equivalent to 0.5 close-range, which determines the damage output of a Melee

  • Why boost Int to 140?
    - Int helps increase damage dealt and decreases damage received on Enhancement (Pulse of Assault and Pulse of Solid)

  • Why 20 Lck?
    - 20 Lck helps crit block, reduces the rate of being hit by crits on PvE

Skills: [ref-04]

Attack:

  • C0R0 - Basic Attack: Normal 3 times continuous attack

  • C0R5 - Strength UP1: A passive skill that increases Str by 1

  • C1R0 - Master Stance: A switch skill that increases crit by 20; decreases long-range attack by 10 and MP regeneration by 1

  • C2R0 - Sword Maniac: A passive skill that increases close-range attack by 3

  • C2R5 - Strength UP2: A passive skill that increases Str by 1

  • C4R5 - Strength UP3: A passive skill that increases Str by 1

  • C9R0 - Gatling Strike: 6 times continuous attack, which are weaker than Basic Attack

How to train:
Once you have Lord of Armor (C4R0 Retaliation), toggle it on, get naked (except maybe Expertise-boosting equips), get a demon that can heal you decently, head to Shibuya, and start punching Ocypetes. You can use an Incense of Protection for added insurance. These birds reflect punches, but they still count towards your Attack expertise.

or

You can also grab a Sword or Blade or Etude, and attack an Aello (Accomplished versions randomly spawn on Shibuya map, while normal and Inexperienced versions can be found in the Shibuya Quartz Bronze dungeon). The +50% to base expertise gain might not be much in the short term, but every bit adds up.

Weapon Knowledge:

  • C1R0 - Sword Mastery I: A passive skill that increases close-range attack by 1

  • C2R0 - Sword Mastery II: A passive skill that increases close-range attack by 1

  • C3R0 - Sword Mastery III: A passive skill that increases close-range attack by 1

  • C4R0 - Sword Mastery IV: A passive skill that increases close-range attack by 1

  • C5R0 - Sword Mastery V: A passive skill that increases close-range attack by 1

  • C6R0 - Sword Mastery VI: A passive skill that increases close-range attack by 1

  • C7R0 - Kamiizumi: A passive skill that decreases casttime for Counter and Guard by 20%

  • C8R0 - Kojiro: A passive skill that increases crit defense by 15

  • C9R0 - Musashi: A passive skill that increases crit by 30

How to train:
Gather 30 Soul Shards (from killing Kodamas in Suginami Tunnels Bronze) or an Azoth Sword (cost 680 AP in Armor Shop), bring them to Saint Germain (he will only take the Soul Shards from your inventory, but not Azoth Sword) in Shinjuku Babel, he will unlock Occultism to C1R0. After unlocking Occultism, you can buy tarot cards from Saint Germain which can be used for taroting aka Tarot Fusion (a skill on Synthesis). Taroting equips with The Fool tarot card will increase more expertise points than the other tarot cards available from Saint Germain. To train Weapon Knowledge, just simply tarot The Fools with Silver Ring over and over again. Also, Lck increase the rates of successful tarots. Besides taroting, use Rush and Spin more often, both of these also contribute on raising Weapon Knowledge.

*The action itself of using Tarot Fusion, Rush and Spin will increase Weapon Knowledge even without the actual Tarot Fusion, Rush and Spin expertise unlocked for leveling.

Survival Technique:
  • n/a

How to train:
Halfway through the path towards the Suginami Tunnels, you will be able to find Kissy Pixies. Attack the Kissy Pixies, but do not kill them, so they will start attacking you, then dodge their attacks. Also worth noting, using Counter and Guard will increase Survival Technique.

*The action itself of using Dodge, Counter and Guard will increase Survival Technique even without the actual Dodge, Counter and Guard expertise unlocked for leveling.

Support Magic:

  • C0R1 - Rakukaja: Raises physical defense of a single target by 1, can be stacked up to 4 times

  • C0R4 - Intelligence UP1: A passive skill that increases Int by 1

  • C0R7 - Sukukaja: Raises crit resistance of a single target, can be stacked up to 4 times

  • C1R0 - Makakaja: Raises support and spell attack of a single target by 3, can be stacked up to 4 times

  • C1R5 - Samakaja: Raises magic defense of a single target by 2, can be stacked up to 4 times

  • C2R0 - Tarukaja: Raises close-range and long-range attack of a single target by 2, can be stacked up to 4 times

  • C2R5 - Intelligence UP2: A passive skill that increases Int by 1

  • -----------------------------------------------
  • C3R0 - Tetraja: Nulls Expel and Death-affinity skills once

  • or

  • C3R0 - Estoma: Calms hostility of enemies around you
  • -----------------------------------------------

  • C3R5 - Masukukaja: Raises crit resistance of nearby target, including yourself, can be stacked up to 4 times

  • C4R0 - Dekunda: Cures yourself from -nda skills effects

How to train:
Support Magic starts out at C0R0 and there's no support skill for C0R0. In order to reach C0R1, you'll have to buy Sukukaja Stones from Magic Shop in Shinjuku Babel. Cast the Sukukaja Stone on anyone, including you and your demon till Support Magic increases till C0R1. From C0R1 onwards, you can use the skills from Support Magic to grind till C4R0.

Curative Magic:

  • C0R1 - Dia: Heals a single target

  • C0R5 - Posmundi: Cures Poison from nearby target, including yourself

  • C1R0 - Media: Heals nearby target, including yourself

  • C1R4 - Charmdi: Cures Panic, Charm and Rage from nearby target, including yourself

  • C1R7 - Paraladi: Cures Paralyze from nearby target, including yourself

  • C2R0 - Patra: Cures Sleep and Nind from nearby target, including yourself

How to train:
Curative Magic starts out at C0R0 and there's no curative skill for C0R0. In order to reach C0R1, you'll have to buy MP or HP healing items from any Pharmacy in any city or Yagiya in any Dungeon. Cast the MP or HP healing items on anyone, including you and your demon when their MP or HP are not full till Curative Magic increases till C0R1. From C0R1 onwards, you can use the skills from Curative Magic to grind till C2R0.

However, it's recommended to raise Curative Magic using by spamming Masukukaja until your MP drops as close to zero as it will go, and use Chakra Gums (the 10 MP item) to raise Curative Magic. This method can be used to help raise Support Magic at the same time.

or

Put your demon in Counter mode. When your demon loses MP, spam Magic Stones repeatedly. This a great way to raise Curative Magic, if you're only raising Curative Magic since Magic Stone is cheaper than Chakra Gum.

Bless:

  • C1R0 - Blessing of Soma: +5 max MP to party members

How to train:
Get a Faded Earring: Garnet (from Blue Plasmas in Shibuya near Shibuya Oblisk), bring it to Saint Germain in Shinjuku Babel, he will unlock Bless to C1R0.

I was really busy these few months that I don't have the time to really update both this blog and Biting Biscuit. While trying to think of a something to write, I realized Biting Biscuit and Brown-eye Rabbit are actually 2 years old, which was totally not in my thoughts during these times.

Time passes quite fast and I thought of the time when I first started out writing Biting Biscuit. Well, Biting Biscuit was supposed to be my personal blog, which as if any of you read, few posts are kinda personal during the first year.

After a few months of creating Biting Biscuit, some of my friends felt that my posts are kinda funny in a twisted way, as I was being really random and sarcastic on my posts. They suggested instead of writing personal stuff, I could actually try making a blog somewhat like stories of an asshole, which leads me to the creation of Brown-eye Rabbit.

Brown-eye Rabbit is a rabbit with douchebaggery problems, if not it's a asshole for dissing everyone. I create it based on myself and few of my friends, adding more lulz, douchebaggery and bad temper on itself.

Having that done, I started off a new chapter of Biting Biscuit, with more random posts, sarcastically posts on dissing people. Having support from readers, I guess few of my friends or some others who I don't know, I continued writing Biting Biscuit for 2 years.

It was surprising when I found out blogged.com actually passed a 7.6 out of 10 rating on Biting Biscuit. This motivated me a lot and kept me writing to entertain those who like to read Biting Biscuit.

Seeing how I abandon Biting Biscuit for almost a year, I've decided to make myself some time and write on Biting Biscuit again. I hope that anyone who really likes it will continue on supporting me, troll me on Biting Biscuit and we'll have more lulz together.

[Imagine] After 3 months...

Thanks to my ongoing projects and university, I have much less time on Imagine for the pass 3 months. I'm trying to pick up my pace again by getting SI done on my primary equips (since I sucked much with Regal Enhancer set).

Kiel, a great friend of mine, a great brother in game, a great partner on battle has finally decide to leave the game... Well, another friend leaving. Also, GB, a friend I met in game decided to leave the game for good, and tried to get himself ban to stop the addiction by spamming threads on Imagine's main forum. Much success on that though. Seems most of the older generation of players in Megaten are quiting slowly, except for those ninjas in Aspire (including me).

Anyway, gotta get my new look done and stuff, hope that I'll finish up the SIing and 100 DCMs before getting busy again.

/unrelated to Imagine: Fat Goat gains another 100kg which is pretty impressive... And Steve Austin deserved to die, fat goat, he deserved it. In which using common sense, it's a pretty kewl movie = you are a fucking moron.
